Huge shoutout to Larry. I came in to get the right plants for building a terrarium, this one was for my friend and I was pretty unsure what to get. Larry was incredibly knowledgeable, walked me through all the succulents, plants, terrarium types, and gave a ton of info on which plants actually pair well together in a terrarium. I've built one before so I already had a decent base of knowledge, but Larry was on a whole other level, total professional. He helped us for a while and made sure all our questions were answered before we left. Really glad about the purchase, the terrarium turned out great and my friend loved it. Also Telly's in Troy is huge, so many options for anything greenhouse related you could need. FYI there is this very cute cat that is in the checkout area. Make sure to say hi :)

Big selection of plants!! They had a pretty big outdoors and indoors, depending on the plants you’re looking for. I personally came for the indoor plants so I just explored the indoor section. They had a big selection of both pots and plants. Plus several fertilizers, plant necessities etc. my partner and I filled up our cart in no time and walked away with a beautiful monstera, 2 rubber plants and a Begonia!’ The plants seemed pretty healthy, pretty, and well taken care of and the prices were fair. I personally didn’t find the cashier very knowledgeable though and I wish they had walked me through the basics of the plant care. Wrapping the plants for transport would have been nice too. All in all, I wouldn’t mind another visit! Update: its been about a month since my visit and I just noticed that whoever potted the monstera I bought genuinely had no idea what they were doing or it was deliberately setup to die. First off, the pot is obviously too small for the size of the plant. Monstera roots are pretty extensive and there is hardly any way it would have enough space. I love this plant shop. My boyfriend and I were visiting the area and saw this place online. Came in with high expectations and Telly's exceeded them. We both found what we wanted and staff was very helpful with our questions about soil and plant care. Highly recommended

I have loved going to Tellys for awhile now, mostly for plants. They always have a great selection with much better prices than English garden. Just yesterday I was in to buy a fountain (at a good price relative to other garden stores) and I am obsessed with it already. Came with a pump and everything, very sturdy and well made, and the birds love it.

I love this store! They have a great variety of plants; perennials, annuals and vegetable seedlings. Gorgeous hanging baskets that are very reasonable in cost. High quality, good pricing and the staff is helpful. Plus, they have a great selection of supplies for building a fairy garden 🥰 and the most gorgeous bonsai trees! You will not regret a visit here 🌻🌸💐
